The Sky Soldiers’ mission is to ensure the American public can continue to see, touch, smell and hear incredible historic aircraft.
Their mission and purpose is shown through the efforts to:
1. Educate the public on the heritage of the armed forces through the stories of the soldiers and the machines.
2. Connect soldiers past and present to the civilian population. Honoring the armed forces by showing the public their contributions.
3. Inspire patriotism and motivate Americans to support the military and their families. Demonstrating our military legacy gives civilians a view into who we have to thank for our freedom and liberty.
4. Preserve the authentic and fully operational Army aircraft as a educational tool of “living history” The aerial demonstrations performed to give live examples of how these machines aided the military.
