GARY WARD MX-2
Gary Ward developed an interest in flying airplanes as a teenager. After high school he toured with the USAF as a jet engineer, then later went on to earn his degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his career he worked as a design engineer for the Cessna Citation.
The MX2 piloted by Gary Ward is powered by a Lycoming engine modified by LYCON to produce more than 350 horsepower. It is an all carbon fiber monoplane that is state of the art. By being strong, fast and very agile, the MX2 is an unlimited aerobatic aircraft.
During his performance, he will take steep climbs, breathtaking gyrations that range from zero speed hovers to dives in excess of 250 MPH. The power of this aircraft is demonstrated with an inverted flat spin in which the rotation is stopped and will fly out still inverted. Gary is known for maneuvers that an airplane just isn’t supposed to do!
